INCLEMENT WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY

Since classes are scheduled to accommodate people with very busy schedules and rescheduling a class is often difficult, we only cancel classes when the weather is very bad. In the event of class cancellation you will still be responsible for missed hours as well as all materials scheduled to be taught on that day. The school will work with students to determine the best way to make up the material and hours.

We realize that some people may choose to miss class due to the weather. You will still be responsible for the material covered in class as well as making up all missed hours. Please check with your instructor to find out the best way to make up the material and hours.

It is important to remember that inclement weather can be regional so whenever inclement weather is forecasted, be sure to call and check the voice mail system for cancellation or delay announcements. While inclement weather generally involves severe snow or ice storms remember that inclement weather can also include flooding, hurricanes, and other weather patterns.

The cancellation message for bodywork and aesthetics classes will be recorded as follows:

Day (8:30am) Classes Call after 6am

Day (9:30am) Classes Call after 7am

Evening Classes Call after 4 pm

Weekend Classes Call after 6 pm the night before the class.

For massage/polarity clinics, call 2 hours before your scheduled session.

	Portland: Cosmetology school does not close due to inclement weather unless there is a state of emergency, but please take into consideration where you are traveling from and your safety.
