Christabeth IngoldChristabeth Ingold knew at a very young age she wanted to help heal people. “It has always been clear to me, my soul was meant to heal.” She grew up in West Springfield, Massachusetts and attended Leslie University in Boston, studying art therapy, which is a creative modality for self-expression through art. She received her bachelors in 2005.

Because of her love for the healing arts, she became certified in both Reiki 2, Transformational Life Coaching and Holistic Health Coaching. With Reiki, she knew she could help people with their chakra or energy systems and could help coach people through transitions in their lives. “Coaching and energy work are so different. My coaching skills help my client go to a deeper level where I can help clear their energy with Reiki.”

While Christabeth worked in these fields for 9 years, she added Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage which integrates mind, body and spirit in bringing healing for her clients. Lomilomi is about physical massage as well as energy work where the client learns forgiveness, letting go and experiences a shift where they break free of emotions and pain. This is when she fell in love with bodywork and wanted to learn more! With this modality, pain is perceived as emotional and a client must recognize their pain. “I have the tools to get to the client’s answers, it works down to the cellular level.”

Christabeth wanted to expand what she offers her clients and visited Spa Tech Institute in Ipswich. She knew this was the place for her when she learned about the 770 hour holistic massage program offered in which therapeutic massage is incorporated with polarity, an energetic healing modality. She comments, “We are so beyond our physical selves.”

In 2017, she enrolled in the evening program and feels grateful for her time at the school. “My favorite class was anatomy and physiology as well as the polarity training I received. What I learned at Spa Tech Institute inspires me to create the ultimate session for my clients.” She commented that the administrative staff was so supportive, and her teachers were awesome. She says she learned so much from their experiences as massage therapists and learned new techniques to offer her clients. She graduated in 2018 and walked away with many friends who are great colleagues today.

Christabeth continues to grow her business by handing out business cards and flyers as well as social media posts. She has since begun offering Chakradance and intuitive card readings for her clients too. Christabeth is married to her partner, Nic and lives in Andover where her business is located. If you need some massage, healing or coaching she is the one that does it all. You can reach her at Clear and Now Holistic Healing Center at 413-204-8802.
