The teacher training gives you a chance to bring your work to another level as well as participate in a stimulating environment with peers. You learn not only advanced techniques about cosmetology but also leadership, communications, and teaching skills that are useful in all areas of life.

By learning the best that is available from Milady and Pivot Point International, you will have both excellent teaching skills and class management and motivation skills to help the students discover their artistic and creative abilities.

But the most important part is joining the Spa Tech Institute team of teachers who have extensive teaching careers as well as being excellent stylists.

Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Training Options for State of Maine Licensed: cosmetologist, aesthetician, barber, nail technician

The 600 hour Teacher Training program leads to a certificate of completion that meets requirements by the State of Maine, Cosmetology & Barbering Licensing Program and prepares the licensed professional to pass the state exam and apply for an instructors license to teach in their Maine state licensed profession and/or practice.
